Ice Art! Part I

Every March, the World Ice Art Championships are held in Fairbanks. Sculptors from across the globe gather to compete in the ice carving competition, which draws 45,000 visitors annually. This year, artists from the US, China, Japan, Russia, Portugal and Spain competed. Artists had only  three days to complete a sculpture in the single block competition and a mere six days to sculpt a multi-block (aka huge) sculpture.

The results are truly incredible.
